Welcome to AML-Connect — the shared knowledge and coordination hub for Pennsylvania’s abandoned mine land and acid mine drainage community.
We’re glad you’re here. This is a soft launch, which means we’re starting with a small group of trusted network members before opening to the broader public. Your participation and feedback during this phase will shape what AML-Connect becomes.
**What AML-Connect offers:**
The Knowledge Base has 180+ articles covering AMD basics, watershed assessment, passive treatment systems, O&M, organizational development, policy and funding, and more. Start at /docs/ and browse by category, or use the search bar.
The Resource Library has 34 curated reports, guides, templates, and grant program references — including the 2026 PA DEP AML/AMD Grant Program Guidance, AMDTreat software, and O&M fact sheets. Browse at /resources/.
The forums are where we ask questions, share updates, and troubleshoot together. Use the board that fits your question — or just start in General Q&A.
The working groups are where we coordinate on specific topics. See the Groups tab to find one that fits your work, or request a new one if you don’t see what you need.
**Three things to do first:**
Complete your profile — add your organization, role, and Network Segment (the dropdown on your profile).
Introduce yourself in the General Q&A forum — we’d love to know who’s here.
Browse the Knowledge Base or Resource Library and let us know what’s most useful (or what’s missing).
Questions, bugs, or suggestions: post in the Site Feedback forum or email the admin directly.
Thanks for being part of this!
